Prospective Marriage Visa Subclass 300
The Prospective Marriage Visa Subclass 300 is for people engaged to an Australian citizen or permanent resident. You must plan to marry within nine months. In addition, this visa is temporary. However, it serves as the first step toward permanent residency. Both heterosexual and same-sex couples can apply, though you will need sponsorship from your partner.
New Zealand Citizen Family Relationship (Temporary) Visa subclass 461
If you are a family member of a New Zealand citizen living in Australia on a Subclass 444 Special Category Visa, you may qualify for the 461 visa. This visa allows de facto partners, spouses, and children to live and work in Australia. It is valid for up to five years.
