Comparison Between Different Employers’ Sponsored visas
Temporary Skilled Shortage (TSS) Subclass 482 Visa
This visa enables skilled international workers and their families to live and work in Australia for an approved business. Depending on the occupation, the visa may be valid for two to four years. To apply, you must follow three key steps: First, secure sponsorship from an eligible business. Next, obtain a nomination for an eligible skilled occupation. Finally, submit your visa application.
Employer Nomination Scheme Subclass 186 Visa
The Employer Nomination Scheme allows Australian employers to nominate skilled overseas workers for permanent positions, especially in areas facing labour shortages. The process involves two stages: Initially, the employer must lodge a nomination. Subsequently, the worker can apply for the visa under the appropriate stream.
Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme Subclass 494 Visa
This visa is similar to the Subclass 482; however, it specifically applies to employers and applicants in regional or less-populated parts of Australia. Consequently, it supports regional economic development while addressing local skills shortages.
Training Subclass 407 Visa
The 407 visa is designed for individuals who want to improve their skills through structured, workplace-based training. Importantly, this visa is ideal for professionals needing hands-on development in their occupation.
Temporary Work (Short Stay Specialist) 400 Visa
This short-stay visa permits individuals with highly specialised skills, knowledge, or experience to work in Australia for a limited period. Typically, it is used for short-term, high-impact assignments where local expertise is unavailable.
